Nitowrap CW

(+15% Vat Included)

Nitowrap CW is a high-strength carbon fiber fabric system designed for strengthening concrete structures. Used in conjunction with an epoxy resin, it enhances the load-bearing capacity of a structure—specifically by increasing its flexural and shear strength. Furthermore, the lightweight nature of the fabric allows it to be easily applied to the corners and curved sections of a structure.

    What is Nitowrap CW?

Nitowrap CW is a high-strength carbon fiber fabric system designed for strengthening concrete structures. It is used in combination with epoxy resin to increase the load-bearing capacity of structures, particularly by enhancing flexural and shear strength. Its lightweight fabric can easily conform to corners and curved surfaces of structural elements.

    Nitowrap CW Main Applications

    Suitable for applications such as:

    • Increasing static and dynamic load-bearing capacity

    • Seismic strengthening of structures

    • Repairing structurally damaged concrete

    • Strengthening buildings and various civil engineering structures

    Nitowrap CW Key Features

    • Enhances flexural load-bearing capacity

    • High tensile strength and modulus of elasticity

    • Minimal disruption to existing structures

    • Corrosion-resistant with a long service life

    • Fast installation, helping reduce downtime

    • Lightweight, adding minimal additional load to existing structures

    • Thin system profile, minimizing the impact on structural dimensions and clearance

    • No prefabrication required, allowing the fabric to conform to the shape of existing structures

    • Suitable for both Dry Wrap and Wet Wrap techniques

    • Available in various grades, strengths, and thicknesses

    Surface Preparation

    The concrete substrate must be:

    • Dry

    • Smooth

    • Free from debris and loose materials

    • Fully cured

    • Free from coatings

    • Free from impregnation treatments

    • Free from contaminants

Light grit blasting is recommended to remove materials that may reduce adhesion and create a suitable surface profile for mechanical bonding.
