What is Nitowrap Encapsulation Resin & Primer?
Nitowrap Encapsulation Resin & Primer is a high-strength epoxy resin system designed for structural strengthening applications. It is used in conjunction with reinforcing fabrics in the Nitowrap system to increase structural load-bearing capacity, particularly flexural and shear strength, while ensuring full contact between the reinforcing fabric and the structural substrate.

Application Instructions
For detailed application procedures, refer to the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) of the specific Nitowrap reinforcing fabric used with the system.
1. Apply Nitowrap Primer
Apply Nitowrap Primer to:
Help strengthen the substrate surface
Control Encapsulation Resin consumption for optimal application
Actual Primer consumption may vary depending on substrate porosity.
After applying the Primer, if any of the following are found:
Pinholes
Surface imperfections
Surface defects
They should be filled using a suitable Nitomortar product, or an additional coat of Nitowrap Primer should be applied.
2. Apply Nitowrap Encapsulation Resin
Apply Nitowrap Encapsulation Resin according to the minimum consumption requirements specified for the particular Nitowrap fabric being used.
A Wet Film Thickness Gauge should be used to verify that the applied thickness meets the specified minimum requirement.
After applying the resin, install Nitowrap CW immediately.
3. Installation of Subsequent Layers
The specified minimum and maximum overcoating intervals must be followed.
If an additional layer of Nitowrap CW is to be installed over the existing system, reapplication of Primer is not required.
