What is Triflex SmartTec?
Triflex SmartTec is a liquid-applied waterproofing resin with very low odor and a solvent-free formulation. It is used in combination with Triflex 110g Reinforcement Fleece to create a reinforced waterproofing system.

Triflex SmartTec Mixing and Application Instructions
Before application, thoroughly mix the resin in its container using a low-speed mixer for at least 2 minutes until a uniform consistency is achieved. Avoid introducing air into the material during mixing, as this may cause air bubbles to form.
Precautions
Contractors should verify the suitability of the product for actual site conditions. The product documentation specifies that non-Triflex products must not be used in conjunction with Triflex systems. Always refer to the latest Product Data Sheet (PDS) before application.
If Work Is Interrupted for More Than 24 Hours
If the surface has not been fully broadcast with aggregate and work is interrupted for more than 24 hours, or if the surface has been exposed to rain:
Sand the surface using sandpaper.
Clean and reactivate the joint areas using Triflex Cleaner.
Allow the Triflex Cleaner to evaporate.
Apply the subsequent coating at least 20 minutes but no later than 60 minutes after cleaning.
If the surface has been fully broadcast with aggregate, it should be cleaned and dried, but Triflex Cleaner is not required.
