What is SikaRoof® VersiDrain®?
SikaRoof® VersiDrain® is a lightweight planting tray designed for Blue-Green Roof systems. It provides water storage, water retention, and drainage functions within green roof systems. Made from recycled Polypropylene (PP), the tray consists of three main sections: a planting layer, a water reservoir for plants, and a stormwater detention layer.
The trays can be interlocked with adjacent modules, allowing easy and continuous installation. The flat base helps reduce the risk of damage to the underlying waterproofing membrane. Additionally, the integrated water storage compartments help support plant survival and delay rainwater discharge from the roof, reducing the load on drainage systems.
SikaRoof® VersiDrain® Main Applications
Suitable for use as a water storage, stormwater detention, and drainage layer in applications such as:

Applications requiring water storage within planting systems
It should be used together with a suitable Geotextile layer, which acts as a filter to prevent soil or planting media from clogging the water storage compartments and drainage system.
