Nitobond EP is supplied as a two-component material in pre-weighed quantities, ready for mixing and application on-site. The colored components, consisting of a white base and a green hardener, provide a visual indication of proper mixing.

Applications (Uses)

Nitobond EP is used for bonding freshly mixed, wet cementitious materials to existing cementitious substrates. It is suitable for horizontal surfaces or vertical surfaces where formwork can be used to support mortar or concrete.

The product has a long open life, making it suitable for applications requiring the installation of formwork or additional reinforcement before proceeding.

The product is suitable for roads, bridges, pedestrian walkways, loading bays, factories, bonded floor toppings, and granolithic floor toppings. Nitobond EP can be used for both interior and exterior applications.

In addition, Nitobond EP can be used as part of a repair system where a barrier layer is required between the existing substrate and the repair material, or in areas where the substrate is likely to remain permanently damp or wet.
