Bostik S301 SILICONE CLASSIC is a multipurpose acetoxy silicone sealant for expansion and construction joints. It cures by reacting with moisture to form a durable, flexible rubber-like seal. The product is resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions.

Product Description (PRODUCT DESCRIPTION)
Bostik S301 SILICONE CLASSIC is a multipurpose Acetoxy Silicone Sealant designed for sealing expansion joints and construction joints.
The product cures by reacting with moisture in the air to form a durable, flexible rubber-like seal. It also provides excellent resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions.
Applications (APPLICATIONS)
Bostik S301 SILICONE CLASSIC has been specially developed as a multipurpose sealant for sealing construction joints and structural expansion joints.
Directions of Use (DIRECTIONS OF USE)
Properly designed joints can accommodate movement between building materials. The joint depth must always be proportionate to the joint width.
As a general rule, for joints with a width of up to 10 mm, the recommended depth-to-width ratio is 1:1, with a minimum joint width and depth of 5 mm.
For joints wider than 10 mm, the joint depth should be calculated by dividing the joint width by 3 and adding 6 mm.

Limitations (LIMITATIONS)
Not suitable for use on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene rubber, and bituminous substrates
Not suitable for application on concrete, marble, lead, copper, and galvanized steel surfaces
Surface Preparations and Finishing (SURFACE PREPARATIONS AND FINISHING)
The recommended application temperature is between +5°C and +40°C. This requirement applies to both ambient and substrate temperatures.
All surfaces must be sound, clean, dry, and free from grease and dust. Clean the surfaces using Bostik Cleaner.
Bostik S301 SILICONE CLASSIC provides excellent adhesion to most non-porous surfaces without requiring a primer.
For porous surfaces, the substrate should be prepared with Bostik Primer before application.
An adhesion test should always be carried out on the substrate before actual application.
Use Bostik Finisher to smooth the joints and achieve the desired finish.
