Directions of Use (DIRECTIONS OF USE)
Properly designed joints can accommodate movement between building materials. The joint depth must always be proportionate to the joint width.
As a general rule, for joints with a width of up to 10 mm, the recommended depth-to-width ratio is 1:1, with a minimum joint width and depth of 5 mm.
For joints wider than 10 mm, the joint depth should be calculated by dividing the joint width by 3 and adding an additional 6 mm.
