Product Description

Sika® Super-1 is a new-generation high-range water-reducing admixture for concrete, designed for the production of high-strength concrete by accelerating early compressive strength development.

Sika® Super-1 offers the following properties:

When Used as a Superplasticizer

• Significantly improves concrete workability without increasing the water-to-cement ratio (w/c Ratio)

• Prevents segregation of the concrete mixture

• Maintains normal setting time without causing setting delays

• Accelerates concrete hardening after initial setting

• Increases concrete density and improves surface finish, producing smooth concrete surfaces without honeycombing

When Used as a High-Range Water Reducer

• Can reduce water content by more than 20% and increase the 28-day compressive strength of concrete by up to 40%

• Can increase early-age compressive strength by more than 100%, depending on admixture dosage and the water-to-cement ratio (w/c Ratio)

• Improves resistance to water penetration

• Enhances resistance to wear and abrasion

Applications

Sika® Super-1 is used as a superplasticizer for concrete requiring high flowability and is suitable for the following applications:
