Self-Leveling Polyurethane Flooring for Concrete Floors Subjected to Medium to Heavy Loads
Good chemical resistance to a wide range of organic and inorganic acids, alkalis, amines, salts, and solvents. Please refer to the Chemical Resistance Chart or consult the local Technical Department.
Has a coefficient of thermal expansion similar to concrete, allowing it to move with the concrete substrate under normal temperature fluctuations. The material maintains its properties at temperatures ranging from -5°C to +65°C.
Bond strength exceeds the tensile strength of concrete.
Non-tainting and odorless.
Applications
Sikafloor®-21 PurCem® LP is used as a scratch coat and as a build-up layer in Sikafloor®-PurCem® flooring systems. It is suitable for areas subjected to medium to heavy loads, as well as areas exposed to chemicals and abrasion, such as:
Food processing facilities (including wet areas, dry areas, cold storage areas, and areas subjected to sudden temperature changes of up to 70°C)
Chemical manufacturing facilities
Laboratories
Workshops and maintenance areas

High mechanical resistance. Under impact loading, the material exhibits plastic deformation, with damage localized to the point of impact without cracking or delamination in surrounding areas.
Good abrasion resistance due to the silica aggregates incorporated into the material.
Suitable for high-moisture substrates, including 7-day-old concrete or existing concrete exposed to high-moisture conditions.
Seamless flooring system that does not require additional thermal expansion joints. Easy to maintain, and existing expansion joints can be continued through the Sikafloor®-PurCem® flooring system.
