Sikafloor-81 EpoCem

(+15% Vat Included)

Three-component, self-leveling epoxy-cementitious system for floor coatings, providing temporary moisture protection.

Sikafloor®-81 EpoCem® is a three-component, epoxy-modified cementitious system designed for applications requiring a smooth surface finish at a thickness of 1.5–3 mm.

Sikafloor-81 EpoCem Applications

Used as a Temporary Moisture Barrier (TMB) at a minimum thickness of 2 mm before the application of epoxy, polyurethane, and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) flooring systems. It can be applied to existing substrates in dry or highly damp conditions, as well as newly placed concrete that has begun to harden but has not yet fully cured.

Used as a Self-Smoothing Screed for:

  • Leveling or repairing horizontal concrete surfaces, including new construction and repair applications in environments exposed to severe chemical attack

  • Floor coating applications on damp substrates in poorly ventilated areas where no special aesthetic requirements are specified

  • Leveling layers for epoxy, polyurethane, and polymethyl methacrylate flooring systems, as well as cementitious screeds, tiles, vinyl tiles, carpets, and wooden flooring

  • Repair and maintenance of conventional cast-in-place concrete floors and vacuum-dewatered concrete floors

Extended with Quartz Sand for Use as Rendering and Repair Mortar:

– For epoxy, polyurethane, and polymethyl methacrylate floor coatings and screeds

Designed for Use on Cementitious Substrates:

  • Suitable for moisture control (Principle 2, Method 2.3 according to EN 1504-9)

  • Suitable for physical resistance (Principle 5, Method 5.1 according to EN 1504-9)

  • Suitable for concrete restoration (Principle 3, Method 3.1 according to EN 1504-9)

  • Suitable for preserving or restoring passivity (Principle 7, Methods 7.1 and 7.2 according to EN 1504-9)

  • Suitable for increasing resistivity (Principle 8, Method 8.3 according to EN 1504-9)

\* Refer to the Application Instructions and Product Limitations for further information.
