What is SikaShield® E77?
SikaShield® E77 is a polymer-modified bituminous waterproofing membrane with a thickness of 5.0 mm. It is reinforced with a non-woven polyester fabric core. The upper surface is coated with mineral granules to provide UV protection, while the underside features a heat-meltable film that allows installation using a gas torch.
SikaShield® E77 Main Applications
Suitable for use as an exposed waterproofing system, either as a single-layer system or as the top layer of a two-layer waterproofing system.
It can be applied to horizontal surfaces such as:
Structural concrete slabs
Precast concrete slabs
Metal decks
Wooden decks
Insulated roofs
Roofs subject to structural movement
The membrane is designed to withstand stresses caused by roof expansion and contraction resulting from temperature fluctuations.
