SikaLevel 102 (TH)

Self-Leveling Floor Compound for Thicknesses of 2–15 mm

SikaLevel®-102 (TH) is a one-component, self-leveling floor compound made from high-quality cement modified with synthetic polymers. It is designed to create smooth, level surfaces ready for the subsequent installation of floor coverings.

The product offers excellent flowability, allowing the material to spread evenly while maintaining a homogeneous consistency during application. It is suitable for interior applications, particularly areas requiring a smooth surface before installing floor coverings such as tiles, stone, carpets, PVC sheets, wooden flooring, or laminate flooring.

SikaLevel®-102 (TH) can be applied at thicknesses ranging from 2–15 mm. Once cured, it provides a smooth, strong, and dense surface. It is suitable for residential applications, interior floor renovations, and areas requiring surface leveling before the installation of decorative floor finishes.

SikaLevel®-102 (TH) is suitable for interior floor leveling applications, such as:

• Leveling concrete floors at thicknesses of 2–15 mm

• Surface preparation before installing ceramic tiles

• Surface preparation before installing natural stone or stone-based floor coverings

• Floor leveling before carpet installation

• Surface preparation before installing PVC sheets

• Floor leveling before installing wooden flooring

• Surface preparation for laminate flooring systems

• Interior applications in residential buildings and general-use areas

• Areas subjected to wheeled traffic, with a recommended minimum thickness of 3 mm

Substrate Preparation

The substrate must be:

• Sufficiently strong

• Capable of bearing the required loads

• Dimensionally stable

• Completely dry

• Free from dust, dirt, oil, waste materials, and loose particles

• Free from loose existing layers or contaminants, which must be removed before application

The substrate can be prepared using:

• Sanding equipment

• Shot blasting equipment

• Sweeping

• Other suitable mechanical preparation methods

Mixing Method

1. Pour 5.75–6.0 liters of clean water into a mixing container.

2. Add one 25 kg bag of SikaLevel®-102 (TH).

3. Mix continuously for at least 2 minutes.

4. Allow the mixture to stand for approximately 1 minute.

5. Mix again briefly.

Application Method

After mixing:

• Pour the material onto the floor.

• Spread evenly using a smoothing trowel.

• Use a spiked trowel or suitable leveling tool to help achieve a level surface.

• At junctions with walls or vertical surfaces, provide a separation gap and use an appropriate isolation material.
