High-Performance Cementitious Tile Adhesive for Porcelain and Granite Tiles

SikaTile®-350 Performance is a polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive suitable for installing porcelain tiles, granite tiles, and low-water-absorption tiles. It is supplied as a ready-mixed, one-component cementitious adhesive that is easy to use, requiring only the addition of water at the specified mixing ratio before application.

The product consists of cement, graded sand, and performance-enhancing additives that improve bonding strength. It is suitable for tile installation applications requiring strong, secure adhesion while reducing the risk of tiles becoming detached over time. The adhesive has a fine, smooth consistency, allowing easy spreading and convenient application.

SikaTile®-350 Performance is designed for installing large-format granite tiles as well as general ceramic tiles. It can be used on floors and walls, both indoors and outdoors, depending on the application requirements. It is also suitable for cementitious substrates and applications involving waterproofing systems, such as bathrooms, kitchens, or wet areas requiring reliable adhesion.

SikaTile®-350 Performance is suitable for various tile installation applications, such as:

• Installation of granite tiles up to 90 × 90 cm on indoor floors and walls

• Installation of large-format granite tiles on outdoor floors

• Installation of porcelain tiles and low-water-absorption tiles

• Installation of ceramic tiles on floors and walls

• Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, depending on the tile type and application requirements

• Suitable for general cementitious substrates

• Can be used in conjunction with waterproofing systems in bathrooms, kitchens, or wet areas

For applications over waterproofing systems or areas with specific requirements, substrate suitability and installation methods should be verified before starting work to ensure maximum bonding performance.

Mixing Method

1. Use one 20 kg bag of SikaTile®-350 Performance.

2. Add 4.8–5.6 liters of clean water.

3. Mix using a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

4. Allow the mixture to stand for approximately 2–3 minutes.

Application Method

• Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive onto the substrate.

• Position the tiles and gently tap them with a rubber mallet to ensure full contact with the adhesive.

• For tiles larger than 25 × 25 cm, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of adhesive to the back of the tiles as well.

• Grouting can be carried out approximately 24 hours after installation or once the adhesive has dried.
