Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D Product Description

Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D is a ready-to-use, single-component, coal tar- and bitumen-free polyurethane waterproofing membrane that is moisture-cured and has a high viscosity. Once cured, the polyurethane membrane forms a highly flexible, tough, and impermeable moisture barrier. It is suitable for application using a brush, roller, or trowel.

Product Description (DESCRIPTION)

Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D is a highly flexible Elastomeric Liquid Applied Waterproof Coating manufactured from Hybrid PU Styrene Acrylic Dispersion. It has been developed as a high-performance, long-lasting, and maintenance-free waterproofing coating system for concrete surfaces.

Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D utilizes advanced waterproofing technology and is designed and warranted to deliver long-term performance, providing reliable protection against water leakage.

Once Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D has fully cured, it forms a strong and durable rubber-like membrane. The product is cost-effective and environmentally friendly, being free from coal tar, bitumen, and other hazardous ingredients.

Coverage (COVERAGE)

0.5 kg/m² × 3 coats

Note:

The theoretical coverage rate applies only to smooth and non-porous surfaces. When estimating actual material consumption, an additional allowance of approximately 10–20% above the theoretical value should generally be included to account for application losses, surface irregularities, substrate porosity, application methods, and the material’s surface coverage capability.

Allow the previous coating layer to dry completely before applying the subsequent coat.

Block P530 Boscoseal PU-D is recommended for waterproofing or use as a Vapour Barrier in the following areas:

• Foundations and basements

• Kitchens and bathrooms

• Exposed roofs, dome-shaped roofs, balconies, and roof decks

• Roof decks of parking structures

• Inverted roofs and sunken slabs

• Wet areas, kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, shower areas, and swimming pools. For all concrete surfaces requiring permanent water immersion, a protective layer of cement concrete screed or another suitable surface protection material should be applied after installation of the waterproofing system

• As a Damp Proof Membrane for sandwich construction applications

• Refurbishment and repair of existing waterproofing systems, including torch-on waterproofing membrane systems
