Paintability (PAINTABILITY)
Bostik A326 FILL A GAP CLASSIC can be painted over once the material has fully cured.
Coatings containing high levels of solvents, such as gloss enamels or high oil-content primers, may react with the surface of the sealant, causing it to become tacky.
It is therefore recommended to conduct a test application on a sample area beforehand to ensure proper compatibility between the paint and the sealant.
To achieve an attractive finish and optimal performance, the paint applied over the sealant should have elongation properties similar to those of the sealant.
Certain thick-film, flexible coatings, such as high-quality acrylic emulsions, can accommodate minor joint movement without causing significant deformation of the paint film.
