Sikagard 710W

(+15% Vat Included)

Sikagard 710 W is a single-component, water-based waterproofing impregnating agent designed for concrete, cementitious render, brick, fiber cement, and natural stone. It penetrates the pores of the substrate without forming a surface film, effectively reducing water absorption, salt efflorescence, dirt accumulation, mold growth, and the ingress of chloride ions, while still allowing the substrate to breathe (permitting water vapor to escape). It is ideal for protecting building surfaces and concrete structures that require long-term durability.

    Sikagard 710 W

Water-Based Water-Repellent Impregnation for Concrete, Plaster, and Natural Stone

Sikagard®-710 W is a one-component, water-based water-repellent impregnation designed to protect concrete, plaster, cementitious surfaces, natural stone, and other porous, water-absorbent materials. It works as a hydrophobic impregnation system that penetrates the substrate without forming a surface film.

The product penetrates deeply into the pores of the material, helping to reduce water absorption and protect against external moisture. At the same time, it allows water vapor and moisture within the substrate to escape naturally, helping to minimize moisture accumulation, efflorescence, mold growth, and the penetration of dirt into the material.

Sikagard®-710 W is suitable for surface protection in general building applications and concrete structures, including concrete walls, plaster, brickwork, concrete tiles, fiber cement, and natural stone. It is also suitable for civil engineering applications, such as bridges and various infrastructure structures. The product complies with EN 1504-2 requirements for hydrophobic impregnation systems, with a penetration depth classified as Class I.

    Sikagard 710 W Applications

Sikagard®-710 W is suitable for use as a water-repellent impregnation and protective treatment for water-absorbent substrates, such as:

    • Concrete and plastered surfaces

    • Cementitious surfaces and sand-cement mortar

    • Concrete tiles and fiber cement

    • Brick masonry, clay bricks, and plastered masonry walls

    • Natural stone and various porous materials

    • Exterior building walls requiring reduced water absorption

    • General concrete structures

    • Civil engineering applications, such as bridges and other infrastructure structures

The product is suitable for surface protection in accordance with the principles of EN 1504-9, including protection against water ingress, moisture control, and improving the resistance of surfaces to environmental exposure conditions.
