Supercast SW10 Product Description
Supercast SW10 is used for expansion joints and Supercast SW10 for construction joints, while maintaining a fully integrated waterstop network throughout the structure.
Supercast SW10 is manufactured from high-performance synthetic elastomeric strips. Swelling occurs when water comes into contact with the hydrophilic groups that form part of the molecular structure of the Supercast SW10 base polymer.
These hydrophilic groups are not extracted or depleted, and their swelling performance is not affected by prolonged or repeated exposure to water. This is a unique characteristic of the base polymer.
The expansion of the waterstop creates positive pressure against the surfaces of the concrete joint, preventing water from passing through the protected joint.
