Brushbond TGP CL

(+15% Vat Included)

A water-based, colorless waterproofing agent that reacts to form a crystalline structure—specifically a robust calcium silicate layer—within the concrete. This process reduces porosity and enhances the concrete’s water-tightness. It is suitable for both new and existing concrete, and can be applied to either the interior or exterior of structures, including walls, bridges, road surfaces, and underground foundations.

    Brushbond TGP CL Product Description

Brushbond TGP CL is used to waterproof and harden new or existing concrete against both positive and negative hydrostatic pressure. Brushbond TGP CL penetrates deep into the gel pores and capillaries of concrete and crystallizes to become an integral part of the concrete. It is a concrete treatment, not a surface coating. It does not change the appearance of concrete because it becomes part of the concrete itself and will not discolor or delaminate.

Brushbond TGP CL works equally well on both old and new concrete, whether above or below ground level. It is suitable for use on cast-in-place walls, precast tilt-up panels, bridges, road surfaces, pipes, basement walls, foundations, sidewalks, on-grade slabs, and roof slabs.

    Advantages

    • Easy to apply by spray, brush, or roller on new or existing concrete

    • Provides an effective waterproofing system that seals, hardens, and dustproofs concrete surfaces

    • Can be applied to damp concrete surfaces without standing water

    • Brushbond TGP CL treatment is permanent and helps increase the pH level of the concrete surface

    • Non-toxic and approved by the US EPA for use with drinking water

    • Protects concrete surfaces against abrasion, freeze-thaw damage, and chloride ion penetration

    • Cost-effective waterproofing solution

    • Prevents efflorescence, helping improve the adhesion of sealers, coatings, and paints

    • Provides resistance to common chemicals, salts, alkalis, petroleum oils, solvents, alcohols including wine and beer, vegetable oils, animal and fish oils, fats, fatty substances, and other common materials

    • Helps improve the durability of concrete exposed to UV radiation
