Sika crete® Gunit-103
Cementitious Concrete Repair Mortar for Dry-Spray Applications, Suitable for Large-Volume Repairs
Sikacrete® Gunit-103 is a one-component cementitious repair mortar designed for concrete repair using the dry-spray method. The product contains microsilica and flow-enhancing admixtures to improve spraying performance, compaction, and adhesion to existing concrete substrates.
The product is designed for large-scale concrete repair applications requiring fast installation, high strength, and reduced on-site work procedures. Although it contains no setting accelerators, it develops good early strength. It is suitable for reinforced concrete structures, soffit repairs, tunnel applications, and difficult-to-access areas.
With its high-density mortar composition, excellent compaction properties, and reduced rebound, dust, and material waste, Sikacrete® Gunit-103 helps accelerate repair work while reducing labor, scaffolding, and formwork costs. The sprayed surface can also be screeded and leveled after application.
Applications of Sika crete® Gunit-103
Sikacrete® Gunit-103 is suitable for large-scale concrete repair applications using the dry-spray method, such as:
Large-volume repairs of reinforced concrete structures
Concrete repairs requiring high early strength
Thick concrete repairs over large areas
Concrete soffit repairs and overhead applications
Tunnel lining and tunnel repair works
Ground stabilization and structural support applications
Repair areas with difficult access that require mechanized application systems
Applications requiring reduced use of formwork or scaffolding

Low shrinkage, with drying shrinkage of approximately 600 microstrain at 28 days
High density and excellent compaction properties
Good adhesion to existing concrete
Enhanced sulfate resistance
Reduced rebound, material waste, and dust during application
Helps reduce labor, scaffolding, and formwork costs
Improves the speed and efficiency of structural repair work
The surface can be screeded and leveled after spraying
Application can be conveniently started or stopped according to site conditions
Suitable for difficult-to-access areas or large repair areas
Manufactured under quality-controlled processes to ensure consistent performance
Application Method
Pour dry Sikacrete® Gunit-103 powder directly into the hopper
Add water at the nozzle
The spray nozzle should be operated by an experienced applicator
After spraying, the surface can be immediately screeded or finished with a trowel
Curing
After spraying, moisture loss must be prevented during the early curing period. The product documentation recommends using Sika Antisol Curing Membrane to help reduce water evaporation.
