Nitoflor Hardtop Product Description
Nitoflor Hardtop is formulated to allow easy application and finishing on fresh, wet concrete surfaces. Nitoflor Hardtop cures monolithically with the concrete to form a dense, non-porous surface with exceptional resistance to abrasion and wear. Monolithic curing helps eliminate common problems associated with thin floor screeds, such as curling, shrinkage, and cracking.
Applications (Uses)
Nitoflor Hardtop is a surface hardening compound for newly laid concrete floors. It is applied using the dry shake method to create a highly abrasion-resistant surface and ensure a complete monolithic bond with the underlying concrete.
The product is particularly suitable for industrial areas subjected to heavy traffic and demanding service conditions, such as:
Power stations
Heavy industrial factories
Agricultural buildings
Refineries
Laboratories
Parking areas
Slaughterhouses
Warehouse floors and loading bays
Maintenance workshops and engineering workshops
Product Advantages (Advantages)
Ready-to-use product requiring no additional admixtures
Creates a strong surface with high abrasion resistance
Forms a complete monolithic bond with freshly laid concrete (Monolithic Bond)
Produces a hard, high-density surface with resistance to oils and grease
Available in a wide range of colors to help improve the working environment
Contains non-metallic aggregates, preventing rust formation when exposed to water or moisture
Product Description (Description)
Nitoflor Hardtop is a factory-blended, quality-controlled surface hardening compound supplied ready for use on construction sites.
The product contains specially selected, extremely hard emery aggregates that provide high resistance to abrasion and wear, combined with Portland cement and special additives to improve material workability.
This formulation allows the material to be easily spread and finished on fresh, wet concrete surfaces.
Once fully cured, Nitoflor Hardtop forms a monolithic bond with the underlying concrete, creating a highly dense, non-porous, exceptionally hard surface with excellent abrasion resistance.
Monolithic curing helps reduce common problems associated with certain flooring systems, such as screed failure, shrinkage, and cracking.
