Nitoprime Zincrich actively resists corrosion within the repair area and helps prevent the formation of incipient anodes in immediately adjacent areas.
Applications (Uses)
Nitoprime Zincrich is an anti-corrosion primer recommended for use on exposed reinforcing steel in concrete structures, in conjunction with Fosroc concrete repair mortars.
The product actively resists corrosion within the repair area and helps prevent the formation of new anodic areas (Incipient Anodes) that could cause corrosion in areas adjacent to the repair.
Nitoprime Zincrich is an electrically conductive coating that is compatible with all types of Renderoc concrete repair mortars, including fluid micro-concretes and certain products used in electrochemical applications.

Nitoprime Zincrich is a two-component, grey liquid product containing metallic zinc as its primary component.
Design Criteria (Design Criteria)
In general, Nitoprime Zincrich is recommended for application in 1–2 coats, depending on the characteristics and condition of the substrate.
Nitoprime Zincrich can generally be recoated approximately 3 hours after application of the first coat at a temperature of 20°C and 65% relative humidity.
After this period, subsequent concrete repair materials may also be applied.
At higher ambient temperatures, both the recoating time and the time required before applying repair materials over the primer (Overlay Time) will be reduced.
The minimum suitable application temperature for Nitoprime Zincrich is 10°C.
