PU Multisport Comfort
Highly Flexible Polyurethane Sports Flooring System for Indoor Sports Courts
PU Multisport Comfort is a multi-layer sports flooring system designed for indoor sports areas. It combines two-component polyurethane resins with high-performance prefabricated rubber granule mats to create a durable, flexible, and comfortable playing surface. The system is suitable for sports courts that must accommodate continuous movement and frequent use.
The system provides an optimal balance between stability, smooth movement, and rapid changes of direction by athletes. It also helps reduce the impact of shock and minimize noise generated by movement, ball bouncing, and general sports activities.
PU Multisport Comfort is suitable for sports flooring in schools, competition venues, training areas, and sports facilities used by people of different age groups. It provides a smooth, seamless, and attractive surface, with custom colors available through the ColorMap system according to project requirements.

System Structure Summary
The PU Multisport Comfort system consists of the following main layers:
Substrate: Concrete or a surface prepared according to the specified system
Rubber Mat Adhesive: Adesilex G19 or a two-component adhesive from the Ultrabond Turf range, depending on the substrate type
Prefabricated Rubber Granule Mat: Mapecomfort PU
Polyurethane Filler Layer: PU Sealer 750
Polyurethane Leveling Layer: PU 700 SL
Finishing Coat: PU 200 Finish
Court Line Marking: PU 200 Finish
The product documentation specifies the following products used in the system: PU 200 Finish, PU 700 SL, PU Sealer 750, Mapecomfort PU, and Adesilex G19.
System Thickness and Standards
For systems required to comply with EN 14904, the product documentation specifies the use of Mapecomfort PU with a thickness of 9 mm and a minimum total system thickness of 11 mm. If other types or thicknesses of rubber mats are used, such as Mapecomfort R with a thickness of 4–9 mm, the elastic and mechanical properties of the finished flooring may vary. Therefore, the Technical Department should be consulted before installation.
Surface Preparation
Before installing the PU Multisport Comfort system, the substrate must be sound, smooth, dry, and free from loose or delaminated materials. The product documentation specifies that the substrate should have sufficient flatness and a pull-off adhesion strength greater than 1.5 N/mm². Cementitious substrates should be prepared by diamond grinding, followed by thorough vacuum cleaning before application.
Cracks should be repaired using epoxy resins such as Eporip. Damaged concrete areas can be repaired using mortars or leveling products from the Mapegrout, Planitop, or Ultraplan ranges. Expansion joints should be sealed using Mapefoam together with Mapeflex PU 45 FT or Mapeflex PU 40, according to the appropriate system.
