Mapecoat TNS Multisport Comfort
Multi-Layer Acrylic Sports Flooring System with Rubber Granule Mats for Multipurpose Sports Areas
Mapecoat TNS Multisport Comfort is a highly flexible, multi-layer sports flooring system made from water-based acrylic resins and installed together with Mapecomfort R rubber granule mats to create surfaces for multipurpose sports areas, both indoors and outdoors. The system is suitable for applications requiring comfortable sports surfaces that reduce impact and effectively support player movement.
Thanks to the flexible undercoat properties of Mapecomfort R, the system helps reduce impact on the body, enhance playing comfort, and provide stability when changing direction while running. It also offers an optimal balance between surface grip and slip resistance.
Mapecoat TNS Multisport Comfort can be installed over existing surfaces, as well as properly prepared bituminous or cementitious substrates. It provides an attractive, durable surface that can be quickly renovated or repaired during scheduled maintenance.
Applications of Mapecoat TNS Multisport Comfort
Mapecoat TNS Multisport Comfort is suitable for sports flooring and multipurpose areas, such as:
Multipurpose sports areas Indoor and outdoor sports courts Installation over properly prepared existing surfaces Installation over bituminous or cementitious substrates Areas requiring impact reduction and enhanced comfort during use Sports surfaces requiring resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation
The product documentation specifies its main application for Multi-purpose Areas and indicates that the system can be installed over existing surfaces, as well as bituminous or cementitious substrates.

Surface Preparation
Before installing the system, the substrate must be inspected to ensure it is suitable for the intended application. The surface must have sufficient strength to withstand the expected loads and service conditions. Concrete substrates should be cured for at least 28 days, be free from rising moisture, have a residual moisture content not exceeding 4%, be dry, smooth, and free from loose or delaminated materials, and have an appropriate slope for rainwater drainage.
Bituminous or asphalt substrates must be cured for at least 15–20 days. The surface must be dry, smooth, free from loose or delaminated materials, and have an appropriate slope to facilitate rainwater drainage. If the concrete substrate does not have an adequate moisture vapor barrier, delamination or blistering of the coating system may occur.
Concrete substrates should be prepared using suitable mechanical methods, such as shot blasting or diamond grinding, to remove contaminants, weak cement paste, and unsound materials. The surface must then be thoroughly vacuum-cleaned before starting work. If the substrate has a residual moisture content between 3% and 6%, the product documentation recommends using Triblock P as a three-component epoxy-cementitious moisture barrier.
