Mapecoat TNS Base Coat Binder [NA] is a fast-drying acrylic latex base coat designed for surface preparation within the Mapecoat TNS sports flooring system. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it can be applied to asphalt surfaces, concrete surfaces (pre-treated with Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW), and existing acrylic or polyurethane flooring systems that have been properly prepared. It helps conceal minor surface imperfections, enhances adhesion, and creates a flexible base layer prior to the application of subsequent Mapecoat TNS products. The binder can be mixed with sand to suit specific court surface conditions. It dries quickly—typically within 2–3 hours—and is ideal for sports flooring projects that require both durability and comfort.
Mapecoat TNS Base Color is a water-based, pigmented acrylic resin coating designed as an intermediate layer for the Mapecoat TNS multi-layer sports flooring system. It is suitable for both new sports surfaces and the refurbishment of existing acrylic or polyurethane-based sports surfaces—such as those for tennis, basketball, volleyball, futsal, or multi-purpose sports—serving to prepare the substrate before the application of the final topcoat. It is applied using a rubber or metal squeegee/trowel, with a consumption rate of approximately 0.4–0.5 kg/m². The product dries within 12–24 hours, depending on on-site weather conditions.
Mapecoat TNS Line is a water-based acrylic resin paint designed for marking lines on sports courts and athletic areas, both indoors and outdoors. It is suitable for use on Mapecoat TNS sports flooring systems, as well as on bituminous or concrete surfaces (provided the latter have been prepared with Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW). The product offers excellent coverage and crisp, sharp lines, with high resistance to abrasion, weathering, UV exposure, and regular wear and tear. It can be applied using a brush, roller, or spray equipment, with a consumption rate of approximately 0.2–0.4 kg/m² for a two-coat application.
Water-dispersed acrylic resin-based coating for multi-layer coating systems, from the Mapecoat TNS product range.
Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW is a two-component, solvent-free, water-based epoxy primer designed for surface preparation prior to the application of acrylic or polyurethane coating systems. It is suitable for use with Mapecoat TNS sports flooring systems, weathered asphalt surfaces, cementitious substrates with a residual moisture content of up to 3%, porous cement surfaces, existing resin-based flooring, PVC, linoleum, and Mapecomfort R rubber underlayment. It enhances the adhesion of sports flooring systems, ensuring a uniform bond. The product can be applied using a roller, sprayer, or rubber squeegee at a consumption rate of approximately 0.1–0.2 kg/m², and it can be overcoated after approximately 5–6 hours under standard environmental conditions.
Mapecoat TNS White Base Coat HV is a water-based acrylic resin base coat and filler designed for surface preparation within the Mapecoat TNS multi-layered sports flooring system. It is suitable for new sports surfaces—whether bituminous or cementitious—as well as for existing acrylic or polyurethane sports surfaces. It helps level the substrate, fills shallow depressions (up to 3 mm deep), and ensures a uniform surface before the application of subsequent coating layers. It is applied using a rubber or metal squeegee/trowel. The approximate consumption rate is 0.4–1.2 kg/m² per coat, depending on the porosity of the surface, with a drying time of approximately 12–24 hours under standard climatic conditions.
Mapeflex PU 45 FT is a single-component, fast-curing polyurethane sealant and adhesive that is easy to apply and can be painted over. It is suitable for sealing expansion joints, joints in industrial flooring, parking areas, warehouses, supermarkets, tiling applications, and general structural joints. Designed for both interior and exterior use, it accommodates joint movement of up to 20%. It also functions as a flexible adhesive for a wide range of construction materials, including concrete, brick, metal, glass, wood, ceramics, insulation, and certain types of plastic.
Mapefoam is a closed-cell polyethylene foam backer rod designed to be placed at the base of joints before the application of flexible sealants. It helps control the depth of the sealant, ensuring optimal performance. Suitable for both vertical and horizontal joints—both indoors and outdoors—it is ideal for use in industrial tile flooring, natural stone installations, precast concrete panels, and general building joints. Mapefoam is non-absorbent, easily compressible, and resistant to decay, ensuring that the sealant functions effectively over the long term.
