    Surface Preparation

Before installing the PU Multisport Professional system, the substrate must be inspected to ensure its suitability for the intended application. It must have sufficient strength to withstand actual service loads, be dry, smooth, and free from loose or poorly bonded materials.

For concrete substrates, the product documentation specifies an appropriate curing period of at least 28 days. The substrate must be free from rising moisture, have a residual moisture content not exceeding 3%, be dry, smooth, and free from loose or delaminated materials. If the substrate has a residual moisture content between 3% and 6%, an appropriate system, such as Triblock P, should be used according to the recommendations in the documentation.

For asphalt or bituminous substrates, an appropriate curing period of at least 15–20 days is required. The surface must be dry, smooth, and free from loose or delaminated materials. Severely damaged asphalt substrates should be removed and repaired using suitable materials before installing the sports flooring system.
