PU 700 SL
Pigmented Self-Leveling Polyurethane Resin for Sports Flooring and Recreational Areas
PU 700 SL is a two-component, pre-pigmented, flexible polyurethane resin with self-leveling properties. It is suitable for sports flooring and recreational areas, both indoors and outdoors. The product can be applied to bituminous substrates, cementitious substrates, or rubber granule mats such as Mapecomfort PU and Mapecomfort R, according to the systems specified in the product documentation.
The product has excellent flow properties, allowing easy spreading and the formation of a uniform leveling layer. It is suitable for renovating existing sports surfaces that require restoration of surface smoothness or for use as part of multi-layer sports flooring systems, such as PU Multisport Comfort, PU Multisport Professional, and PU Professional, to enhance flexibility, playing comfort, and surface durability.
When used as part of a suitable system, PU 700 SL helps increase the overall thickness of the flooring system, improving the strength of the sports surface, supporting heavy-duty use, and providing long-term comfort for players and users, particularly in sports areas subjected to continuous use.
Applications of PU 700 SL
PU 700 SL is suitable for sports flooring and recreational applications such as:
Construction of multi-layer flooring systems, such as PU Multisport Comfort and PU Multisport Professional, after applying PU Sealer 750
Repairing and restoring the smoothness of existing surfaces
Coating existing sports flooring
Sports flooring applications requiring durability and comfort during use
Flooring for schools and recreational areas
Indoor and outdoor sports flooring applications
Flexible exterior surface coatings when used in conjunction with Maperubber EPDM 15 colored rubber granules
Key Features of PU 700 SL

Compatible with PU Multisport Comfort, PU Multisport Professional, and PU Professional systems
Can be used with Maperubber EPDM 15 in systems requiring decorative exterior finishes
Helps improve user comfort through the flexible properties of the flooring system
Application Precautions
PU 700 SL should not be diluted with water or solvents and should not be applied directly to dusty, deteriorated, weak, oil-contaminated, greasy, or wet substrates. If cementitious substrates have a residual moisture content exceeding 4% or are subject to rising moisture, they must be prepared using an appropriate system before application.
For general concrete or cementitious substrates, PU 700 SL should not be applied directly. Instead, Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW should be used according to the specified application procedure. Bituminous substrates must be treated with PU Sealer 750 before applying PU 700 SL to ensure proper system adhesion and uniformity of the material layers.
Application Information Summary
PU 700 SL is a two-component product. Components A and B must be mixed together before application. The mixing ratio by weight is A : B = 77 : 23. Mixing should be carried out for approximately 2 minutes at a speed of 300–400 rpm. The product has a working time of approximately 30 minutes at +20°C.
When applied over a substrate prepared with PU Sealer 750, the approximate consumption rate is 1.3 kg/m² per 1 mm thickness. Actual consumption depends on substrate porosity, temperature, and the application tools used.
