Mapecoat TNS Cushion Elite
Highly Flexible Acrylic Sports Flooring System for Tennis, Padel, Pickleball, and Multipurpose Sports Areas
Mapecoat TNS Cushion Elite is a highly flexible, multi-layer acrylic sports flooring system developed for indoor and outdoor sports courts. It incorporates flexible undercoat layers using products from the Mapecoat TNS Base Coat Ultra Plus, Mapecoat TNS Base Coat Ultra, and Mapecoat TNS Base Coat Grey range to enhance playing comfort, reduce impact, and provide an optimal balance between surface grip and slip resistance.
The system is suitable for sports courts requiring resistance to wear, UV radiation, and outdoor weather conditions. It can be installed over existing surfaces, as well as properly prepared bituminous or cementitious substrates. It provides a surface that supports good ball bounce and allows athletes to change direction effectively, making it suitable for sports facilities requiring both durability and playing comfort.

Surface Preparation
Before installing the system, the substrate must be inspected to ensure that it is suitable for the intended application. The surface must have sufficient strength to withstand service loads, be dry and smooth, free from loose or delaminated materials, and have an appropriate slope for rainwater drainage.
Concrete substrates must be cured for at least 28 days, have no rising moisture from below, and have a residual moisture content not exceeding 3%. If the residual moisture content does not exceed 3%, Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW should be used as a primer. However, if the residual moisture content is between 3% and 6%, Triblock P should be applied as a moisture barrier before installing the system.
Bituminous or asphalt substrates must be cured for at least 15–20 days. The surface must be dry, smooth, free from loose or delaminated materials, and have an appropriate slope for drainage. If the asphalt surface is severely damaged, the affected areas should be removed and repaired using suitable materials before installing the system.
Precautions
The substrate must be sound, dry, smooth, and free from loose or delaminated materials before installation
Concrete substrates must be free from rising moisture
If the substrate has a residual moisture content of 3–6%, Triblock P should be used as a moisture barrier
Asphalt substrates should be cured for at least 15–20 days before installing the system
Ambient temperature during application should be between +10°C and +35°C
The recommended installation temperature is between +15°C and +25°C
Substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point
Follow the Technical Data Sheet of each product used in the system
